Assignment

 Three-part assignment on remote usability.

Module 1 

• Select a site to test. Either:
  • Hotel reservations: Kayak.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz.com, etc.
  • Food Ordering sites: Chipotle, Papa John’s, etc.
  • Review sites: Yelp, UrbanSpoon, etc.
  • Coupon sites: RetailMeNot, etc.
  • Shoe sites: Zappos, etc. or
  • Weather sites: WeatherUnderground.com, Weather.com, etc.
• Creating 5-7 tasks and sharing them with your classmates. 
• Reviewing and providing feedback on your group member’s site and tasks. 

Module 2 

• Sign up for UserZoom GO and (due to site outages) Loop11 trials
• Recruit participants and start running sessions. 

Module 3 

• Analyze and synthesize testing data. 
• Draft a report. 
• Reviewing and providing feedback on your other classmates reports. 
• Revising and submitting a report based on classmate’s feedback.
