My Task

Map out a workflow (sketch, no software) for an application that allows the title inspector to organize this information in a digital container, annotate the information on the cover sheet, and pass it along to the underwriter.

Tom the Title Inspector

Age: 58
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Employer: Lancaster Title Insurance

Tom is very skilled and comfortable in his role at Lancaster Title. Lancaster still does title searches by logging into county websites and retrieving documents manually, printing them out, annotating them, binding up the documents into a manila folder and then filing them in the massive wall of filing cabinets in the back of the Lancaster office. Tom is detail–oriented and focused on making sure that every title insurance policy is backed up with an accurate and thorough inspection.
